Move Mountains

I attended church Sunday morning for the first time since Lucy Jo was diagnosed. Charlie was with me and Marc stayed home with LJ. I didn’t wrestler her around during a sermon for the first time since she was born 9 months ago. It was the first time that I got to hold the song book. It was the first time that I could turn to the book, chapter and verse on command. It was one of the few times that I teared up during a song. This is the culprit. Mighty to Save (Click to listen)

Everyone needs forgiveness, The kindness of a Savior; The Hope of nations.

Savior, He can move the mountains, My God is Mighty to save, He is Mighty to save.

Forever, Author of salvation, He rose and conquered the grave, Jesus conquered the grave.

now take me as You find me, All my fears and failures, Fill my life again.

give my life to follow Everything I believe in, now I surrender.

Savior, He can move the mountains, My God is Mighty to save, He is Mighty to save. Forever, Author of salvation, He rose and conquered the grave, Jesus conquered the grave.

Shine your light and let the whole world see, We're singing for the glory of the risen King...Jesus

Although I know the word “save” has a different intended meaning in this song, all I could think about was, “he has to save LJ.”

Without knowing about my emotional moment at church Sunday morning, my baby cousin brought me this canvas that evening.

PicsArt_1426640903664LJ UPDATE: I had a goal of blogging every day until Lucy Jo is cancer free. Then, life happened. Sunday night was spent in the emergency room because LJ’s temperature went up and down like a rollercoaster all weekend. She also became very constipated and was in pain. We up’ed the anty on stool softener and now she’s ok. After multiple tests, there is no cause for her fevers – other than she has… well ya know.

Cycle 2 Countdown: 6 days

Keep praying. Please.
